Making of ZOO
STYLE INSPIRATION
The visual style is inspired by famed Palestinian cartoonist Naji al-Ali’s artwork. He was known for his political criticism and has been described as one of the greatest cartoonist in the world.

ENVIRONMENT DESIGN
The enviromnemt is based on images we see often in the news covering the wars. The images of students using a shelled chalk board are almost icinic. So are the images of streets with destryed buildings left and right.
3D REFERENCE
We used 3D animation for the robotic elements as well as reference for some of the more challenging character perspetives.
